DESCRIPTION:This interactive session equips coaches with the mindset\, tool
 s\, and strategy to expand their business through professional speaking\, 
 without compromising the integrity of their coaching practice. Grounded in
  ICF Competency #2 (Embodies a Coaching Mindset)\, participants will explo
 re how to align presence\, curiosity\, and self-awareness with the demands
  of the stage. Attendees will leave with a roadmap for getting started as 
 a speaker\, growing their visibility\, and creating new revenue streams th
 rough speaking engagements.\nEarn .75 CCEs\nLearning objectives\nBy the en
 d of this session\, participants will be able to:\n\n1). Define how speaki
 ng can align with and enhance their coaching practice\n\n 	Understand the 
 distinction between resource development (business building) and competenc
 y-driven growth (presence\, reflection\, mindset).\n 	Learn how to use spe
 aking to support client awareness\, empowerment\, and ethical influence.\n
 \n2). Apply key elements of ICF Competency #2: Embodies a Coaching Mindset
  in public speaking environments\n\n 	Practice mental and emotional prepar
 ation techniques used in both coaching and speaking.\n 	Cultivate greater 
 self-awareness\, flexibility\, and openness when presenting or sharing the
 ir message.\n 	Reflect on how cultural and contextual differences may shap
 e audience needs and adjust their approach accordingly.\n\n3). Use mindset
  and presence to navigate fear\, imposter syndrome\, and performance press
 ure\n\n 	Explore reflective practices and emotional regulation strategies 
 that help them “show up” with presence and integrity on stage and in s
 essions.\n 	Learn how to assess speaking engagements through a coaching le
 ns\, ensuring alignment with their values and audience needs.\n\n4). Trans
 late core coaching tools into audience-facing communication\n\n 	Practice 
 using metaphors\, powerful questions\, storytelling\, and silence to evoke
  awareness in groups\, just as they do in 1:1 client work.\n 	Learn to bal
 ance delivering value as a speaker while also modeling coaching behaviors 
 that promote insight\, not advice-giving.\n\n5). Develop an action plan fo
 r integrating speaking into their coaching business\n\n 	Identify opportun
 ities to use speaking as a tool for outreach\, revenue\, or brand building
 \, while maintaining ethical boundaries and competency-based practice.\n
