SUMMARY:Leadership COP
DESCRIPTION:Breaking the Inertia of Success: Learning Before the Loss\nThis
  new six‑part series\, Sustained Excellence through Adaptive Leaders\, e
quips coaches to work with clients who are navigating constant change\, he
ightened expectations\, and the pressure to perform without a pause. Each
session builds on the last\, giving ICF‑credentialed and credential‑tr
ack coaches a clear developmental arc they can follow across the season.\n
\nWe’re opening the series with a skill that meets the moment: a Core Co
mpetency‑aligned capability you can use with a client this week. Because
Core Competency CCEs are the hardest to find\, this event gives coaches
 —ACC\, PCC\, MCC\, and those on the path—an immediate\, high‑value o
pportunity to strengthen their practice while supporting leaders who must
adapt faster than the environments around them.\n\nThis is the starting po
int for a season designed to help coaches cultivate resilience\, agility\,
and sustained excellence in the people they serve.\nSession 1: Sustained
Excellence through Adaptive Leaders: Principles for Everyday Coaching Prac
tice\nThe steady state is gone. AI is compressing the clock on whole indus
tries\, policy is shifting at every level\, and the ground moves under a d
ecision before it is finished being made. The leaders our members coach ca
n no longer settle into a stable place to lead from\, and the ones who get
comfortable are the ones a faster competitor passes while they settle in.
This session teaches a coaching skill built for exactly that pressure: he
lping a leader stay alert to weak signals precisely when things are going
well\, before success quietly narrows their attention. Grounded in high-re
liability research and delivered as everyday coaching practice\, the hour
centers on a live coaching demonstration and hands-on practice you can use
with a client the same week. It opens a six-part series\, Sustained Excel
lence through Adaptive Leaders.\n\nLearning objectives\n1. Evoke awareness
by forming questions that surface weak signals at the edges of a client
’s operational environment\, before they become problems. (Core Competen
cy: Evokes Awareness)\n2. Maintain presence and listen for a client’s in
ternal signals\, the felt cues experience has trained them to explain away
. (Core Competency: Maintains Presence\; Listens Actively)\n3. Help a clie
nt convert a recent near-miss into transferable learning while it is still
fresh. (Core Competency: Facilitates Client Growth)\n4. Apply a coaching
mindset that treats client success as a prompt for deeper inquiry rather t
han reduced scrutiny. (Core Competency: Embodies a Coaching Mindset)\n\nEa
 rn CCEUS: .75 Core &amp\; .25 RD\n\nPricing: Free for all members\, $20 fo
 r non-members\n\nMeet the Host\n\n[box]\n\n\nScott Drexler\, PhD\, ACC\nSc
