Attendees will leave with a roadmap for getting started as a speaker, growing their visibility, and creating new revenue streams through speaking engagements.

- Understand the distinction between resource development (business building) and competency-driven growth (presence, reflection, mindset).
- Learn how to use speaking to support client awareness, empowerment, and ethical influence.
2). Apply key elements of ICF Competency #2: Embodies a Coaching Mindset in public speaking environments
- Practice mental and emotional preparation techniques used in both coaching and speaking.
- Cultivate greater self-awareness, flexibility, and openness when presenting or sharing their message.
- Reflect on how cultural and contextual differences may shape audience needs and adjust their approach accordingly.
3). Use mindset and presence to navigate fear, imposter syndrome, and performance pressure
- Explore reflective practices and emotional regulation strategies that help them “show up” with presence and integrity on stage and in sessions.
- Learn how to assess speaking engagements through a coaching lens, ensuring alignment with their values and audience needs.
4). Translate core coaching tools into audience-facing communication
- Practice using metaphors, powerful questions, storytelling, and silence to evoke awareness in groups, just as they do in 1:1 client work.
- Learn to balance delivering value as a speaker while also modeling coaching behaviors that promote insight, not advice-giving.
5). Develop an action plan for integrating speaking into their coaching business
- Identify opportunities to use speaking as a tool for outreach, revenue, or brand building, while maintaining ethical boundaries and competency-based practice.
- Set clear goals for practice, peer feedback, and ongoing development as both coach and communicator.
